Ralph Earl Franklin, Jr.

Glenville - Ralph Earl Franklin, Jr., 74, died Friday, June 12, 2009.
A native of Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Ralph Earl Franklin and Esther Mary Gillstrom Franklin.
Mr. Franklin was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He held a PHD. in Soil Science, was retired from Clemson University, was very involved as a Certified Crop Advisor, and he enjoyed woodworking, photography, and music. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Bub; children, Paula Montes de Oca and husband Alex of Orange, VA, Eric Franklin and wife Barbara of Vienna, VA, Lara Franklin and husband Patrick Terris of Novato, CA; brothers, Robert Franklin and wife Jeanne, Benjamin Franklin, William Franklin and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Nick and Alex Montes de Oca and John Eric and Sarah Franklin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
