Randell Murrill Bryson, 87, of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. A native of Glenville, NC, he was the son of the late Pherron and Edith Henderson Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his Sister Dorris Barret and his brother, Lowell Bryson.
Randy was a graduate of Brevard High School and was named Brevard Rotary Most Valuable Player for the 1952 football season. After high school, he went to Chicago Technical School where he studied drafting and architecture. It was while he was in Chicago that he met Judy Drake, who would be his wife for the next 62 years. He would work in the construction industry for 33 years, from 1962 to 1995.
He also owned and worked out racehorses, some in Delaware, but mostly in North Carolina. He loved his horses and loved living on his farm.
He is survived by his wife Judy Bryson; and his sister, Kathy Babb.
