Raymond Green

Raymond "Green" Green, was born Dec. 25, 1948 to Alexander and Flossie Green Bryant. He departed this life on July 14, 2015 at Brian Center in Brevard, NC surrounded by family and friends.

He attended the Craven County School System and later joined Job Corps. "Green" was employed at Ecusta for many years.

"Green" was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Flossie Bryant, Brother Alex Junior "Bobo" Green, Sister Zaythe Love, Uncle Earl Bryant and Aunt Minnie Smith.

"Green" leaves behind his: wife Mrs. Lola Green of 44 years, Brevard, NC: one daughter Janice (Melvin) Fritts of Brevard, NC, one son Raymond Green Jr. of Frederick, Maryland, two grandsons Elijah Shook, Jalon Wynn of Brevard, NC, one great grandson Nijah Shook. Three step children Lucy, Marquis, "John John" Swarn and a good friend of the family, Jean. He also leaves behind four brothers Willie Bryant and Clifton Bryant of Asheville, NC, Larry and Johnny Bryant both of New Bern, NC, three sisters Carolyn Brant and Mary Henderson of Havelock, NC and Nora Bryant of Oriental, NC, two aunts, Lenora Waters of Valdosta, Ga. And Lilly Bryant of Ernul, NC, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services for Raymond "Green" Green will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Bethel "A" Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Davis and Rev. Marshall D. Erwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. prior to the services. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
