Rosman -
Reba Gillespie King, 89, died peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April 7, 2012.
A native of Transylvania County, she lived in the same house her entire life. She was a daughter of the late Claude Elmer and Victoria Elizabeth Gillespie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ransler R. King, two brothers, John Luther and Joseph Asbury Gillespie, sisters, Cornelia Elizabeth Amik and Zandra Teresa Lance, a son, Albert Guy King, and a grandson, Christopher James King.
Reba is survived by her sons, Larry Dean King and wife Betty of Rosman and Charles Mark King of Bremerton, Washington, brothers, Claude Elmer Gillespie, Jr. and wife Mary, Alvin Boyce Gillespie and wife Anita, sisters, Victoria Marible Trent, Mildred Mary Lou Taylor, and Edith Jo Gillespie, grandchildren, Mark King, Regina Kralik and husband Joe, Lisa Marie King, Karen Michon and husband Steve, Robbie King, and David King

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11am at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
