Rev. Wilde

Rev. Hoyt Kadez Wilde, 86, of Brevard, NC went to his eternal home Wednesday, February 17, 2016 where he is praising and glorifying Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He was a son of the late Joseph Stokely Wilde, Sr and Ethel Phillips Wilde.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Nell Owen, Marie McKinney Moody, Oneida Johnson, J.A. Wilde, Joseph Stokely Wilde, Jr. & Festus Wilde.

Kadez pastored at Blue Ridge Baptist, Lake Toxaway Baptist & Dunn's Rock Baptist Churches. He also worked for Duke Power for 32 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Jennie Raines Wilde; children Gail Smith and husband Rostand, Sharon Wilde, Greg Wilde and wife Cindy, Tim Wilde and wife Ashley; grandchildren Amber Releford and husband Breon, Colby Wilde, Meredith Wilde and great-granddaughter Taya Releford. He is also survived by sisters Dorothy Galloway and Exie Henson and husband Gene and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services for Kadez Wilde will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Cherryfield Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Presslar, Rev. Gene Gilliam and Rev. Jackie Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Military Rites conducted by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home.
