Revonda Ann Hall Wilson, native to Lake Toxaway, NC, passed away peacefully in her home on September 7th, 2020 at the age of 64. She was surrounded by her loving family and serenaded by angels as she entered her heavenly home.
Revonda was born on May 8th, 1956. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Verner and Gladys Owen Hall, brother Lynwood Hall, and her sister Linda Hall. Her sister, Betty Jean Robetscheck of Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020
She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Terry James Wilson and her children, Erica Wilson Reid and husband Chad of Lake Toxaway, and Devin Kirk Wilson and wife Ellen of Rosman.
The light of her life was her grandchildren Blakely Reid, Austin Dodd, Abigail Dodd, Leah Wilson, Josiah Wilson, Esther Wilson, and our miracle Samuel Wilson. She is also survived by her sister Verna Lee Jarrett and husband Morris of Six Mile, SC; sister in love Kathleen Hall of Brevard; brother James Hall of Lake Toxaway; brother Gary Hall and wife Dianne of Clarksville, GA; sister JoAnn Owen and husband Gerald of Brevard.
Revonda was a 1974 graduate of Rosman High School. She enjoyed her work at Bendix Rosman Tracking Station, the Farm Agency, and especially loving on her senior friends at the Quebec Community Center with Transylvania Transportation. Revonda truly had a servant’s heart, always putting the needs of others first. During her free time she enjoyed sewing, gardening, mowing LOTS of grass, weed eating, painting houses inside and out, and being the greatest Mamaw to her 7 gifts from God.
One of the highlights of her last years was her trip to visit her son and his family in Turkey. Revonda courageously battled cancer since 2004 with a positive spirit that encouraged many others. We know she is enjoying a front porch view that far surpasses the one from her earthly home.
She would like to thank the staff at the Messino Cancer Center and Four Seasons Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, Revonda requested that donations be made to the Quebec Meal Site for Seniors: WCCA , attn.: Pam McCall, 181 Hillview Ext., Brevard, NC 28712.
Revonda’s legacy will be honored at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Mack McCall Cemetery with an outdoor funeral to follow at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church Lake Toxaway.
