Richard Jay Tressler

Brevard-Richard Jay Tressler was born in Warren Co., Ohio to Richard Tressler and Ethel Jay Tressler Kraft on August 10, 1930. He passed away on July 5, 2010 after many years of declining health. He retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sgt. always taking college classes wherever he was stationed. He graduated from Stetson University in Florida. He was a real estate broker and craftsman until he retired completely. He loved nature and all animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear wife Dianne.

He is survived by two cousins who were like sisters, Sandy Luksic and Joan Tusing both from Ohio. Also; two cousins who called him Uncle Dick; Art Boyer and Tammy Archambault and his wife Christie who held him tightly as he passed.

Special thanks to Project Care, TCH support services, The staff at Tore's Home #7, The Oaks of Brevard, and Four Season's Hospice in Hendersonville who made me laugh out loud and held me when I cried.

Now the hour of departure has arrived and we go our separate ways, me to live and you to die, which way is better-Only God knows.
