Richmond Mccall

Richmond Carroll McCall, 69, of Brevard passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at St. Joseph Campus.

He was born in Transylvania County, son of the late Richmond Troy and Gladys Buckner McCall. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Esther Anne Culver McCall, two daughters; Karen Ann McCall of Enka, North Carolina and Kathy Lynn McCall Bullock and husband Jimmy of Rosman, North Carolina, a very special grandson; Frankie Bullock, three sisters; Mabel and husband Eddie Hall of Balsam Grove, Helen and husband James Galloway of Brevard, Edith Jo Samchuck and husband Andy Samchuck of Maryland, a very special brother Darrell McCall and wife Jan of Balsam Grove, sister in law Sherrie and Gary Cauble of Fletcher, special friend Becca Castro of Enka, NC and a very special angel Nathalie Moffitt Britt of Brevard, NC.

Mr. McCall worked at Ecusta Plant then worked and retired from Dupont/Agfa after 32 years. He enjoyed hunting, being with friends and Big Red (his truck), and his faithful dog Jake. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and will be missed.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home& Cremation Services, with Reverend Tommy Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm, at Moore Funeral Home.
