It is with deep sadness that the family of Robert G. Walters shares the news that he passed away on June 25, 2018, at age 90. Bob married Faith (Allen) Walters in 1980, and for the past twenty-six years the couple made Connestee Falls their home. In addition to Faith, Bob is survived by three children, Donna Walters Kozberg (Ronald), of Franklin, Tennessee; Pamela Karmeris (Kenneth) of Matthews, North Carolina; and Robert B. Walters of Asheville, North Carolina; and by stepdaughter Christine Reilly (Thomas) of Dayton, Ohio. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Sean Dinneen, Robert M. Walters, Kelly Pace, Steven Walters, Mariel Kozberg, Kendra Banks, Christopher Karmeris, Colleen Wiseman, and Elizabeth Reilly; as well as seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held at 11 a.m. on July 14th at Faith Memorial Chapel in Cedar Mountain, with Celebrant Gatha Dickson officiating.
