Roberta Abbruzzese

Roberta C. Abbruzzese, 73, passed away on July 17, 2012 at the Elizabeth House after a courageous five year battle of brain cancer.



She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert and Iole Capitanelli Briganti.



Mrs. Abbruzzese was a resident of Jupiter, FL for 20 years and spent 6 months out of each year in Etowah. She was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and  also a member of the Etowah Valley Country Club.



She is survived by her husband Ted Abbruzzese; her daughter, Linda Abbruzzese of Clarendon, VA; her son Michael Abbruzzese of Coconut Creek, FL; her brother, Robert Briganti and wife Barbara of Allen Park, MI; and her nieces, Lisa Gerisch and Vicki Briganti.



A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 11am, Saturday, July 21, 2012 with Father Patrick Toole officiating. The family will receive friends from 7pm until 9pm on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Services and also one hour prior to the mass at the church.
