Ronnie Lovelace

Ronnie Lovelace, 65, of Brevard, N.C. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2012.



He was born in York County, SC to the late Floyd Lovelace and Betty Lovelace Raines. He was also preceded in death by his brother Donnie Lovelace and his son-in-law, Steve Shetters.



Mr. Lovelace proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a soldier of the U.S. Army.  He received the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal with device." He was a member of East Fork Baptist Church and he was the owner of Lovelace Photography of Brevard.



Ronnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Landreth Lovelace, two daughters, Sharon Lovelace Canales and husband Oscar of Brevard and Windy Lovelace Shetters of Brevard, one brother; Floyd Eugene Lovelace and wife Laura of Asheville; one sister, Wanda Price and husband Gordon of Kings Mountain; one aunt Barbara Bracken of Hendersonville and one Uncle, Alfred Brooks of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Andrew Steven Lovelace, Patricia LeAnn Owen and Michaella Staphon Shetters.



A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM at East Fork Baptist Church on Sunday, November 25, 2012 with the Rev. Doug Tankersly and Rev. Kadez Wilde officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
