Rose Camp

Rose Marie Camp, 74, of Brevard, passed away on March 15, 2016 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Walter Milton and Mary Farino Shelton.

Rose was an accomplished and passionate artist. She had a number of murals and displays of her artwork at various businesses around Brevard. She also enjoyed a 34-year-career as a certified nursing assistant. She loved her job and found it very rewarding. Her patients loved her and would always remember her when they would see her around town. She will be deeply missed.

Her loving survivors include her children: Tracy Camp of Hendersonville, Linda Schubbe and husband Gary of Janesville, Minnesota, Kenny Camp and wife Dawn of Mills River, Garfield Camp, JR. and wife Karen of Brevard, and Cynthia Burton and husband Ronald of Baltimore, Maryland; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Rose Camp will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Glade Creek Baptist Church in Pisgah Forest with Rev. David Suber officiating.
