Russell "Cody" Flood
Pisgah Forest - Russell "Cody" Flood, 26, was taken to be in the presence of the Lord, on Friday, November 13, 2009. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandson and friend. He loved to fish in local fishing holes.
He attended St. Timothy United Methodist Church and he proudly attended and graduated from Job Corp in Brevard.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Rebecca Mullinax Flood who died in 2004 and his paternal grandparents; Edward and Hattie Flood. He is survived by his son; Edward Dawson Flood, his father; Buddy Kay Flood, and brother; Joshua Flood all of Pisgah Forest, one sister; Amber Flood and his maternal grandparents; Harold and Donna Mullinax all of Brevard, maternal grandmother; Mary Jane Williams of Pisgah Forest, maternal great grand mother; Mary Elizabeth Mullinax of Asheville, NC , two Uncles Allan and Buster Flood of Pisgah Forest and a niece; Madilynn Flood of Hendersonville.
A Celebration of Cody's life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November, 18, 2009 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church with Rev. Randolph Harry officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 pm- 8pm at Moore Funeral Home.
