Ruth Dorothy Klock, 96. Of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Rev. Charles Arthur and Florence Peabody Jevne. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Albert Vincent "Tick" Klock, and sons Stephen and Paul Klock.

A graduate of Beloit College, Mrs. Klock worked for over twenty years as a primary school teacher in the Detroit area before she and her husband retired to Transylvania County over thirty years ago.

Mrs. Klock is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Klock and her husband Michael Schefer and nine grandchildren.
