Sabra Goodson

Pisgah Forest - Sabra H. Goodson, 87, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2009.
She was a daughter of the late H.B. and Grace Cook Hooper. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James Lewis Goodson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Eathern Hooper, Cyres Hooper; sisters, Essie Moore, Agnes Lewis, and Zinnia Willis.
Mrs. Goodson was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Steve Goodson and wife Dina of Fayetteville, NC, one granddaughter, Missy Eastwood and husband Bert of Morganton, NC; two great grandsons, Mason and Eric Eastwood of Morganton, NC; and special caregiver, Haylea Hidalgo.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
