Sarah Ann Wilson, 61, of Brevard, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Born in Hendersonville, she was a resident of Transylvania County and the daughter of the late William Walker Wilson and the late Nancy McCrary Wilson Holden.
Ann loved her work as an E.M.T. and as a Paramedic as she worked for Buncombe, Henderson and Transylvania Counties during her career. She was a great cook with a caring, yet feisty personality that simply did not allow her to meet strangers. She loved to shop, especially for a good perfume. She was tenacious and persistent in her approach to life.
She found a special peace at the beach and loved beach combing as well as a good party with her friends and family; and of course, Golden Girls and Andy Griffith reruns.
Her loving survivors include her sister, Tracey Creamer (Steve) and her brother, Bill Wilson (Kathy); her step-father, Charles William Holden; her nieces, Taylor Creamer and Tessa Wilson; cousin Jimmy Jones; and special thanks to friend and caregiver, Sharon Shook and a number of other close relatives.
A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church in Brevard with Rev. Shane Duncan officiating.
