Shannon Donaghue Wheatley, 37, passed away at her residence on July 10, 2010. She was born in Austin, MN to the late James A. and Sandra Swenson Donaghue.

Shannon graduated from Austin, MN Community College with a degree in business and from Blue Ridge Community College with a degree in nursing. She was employed by Dr. Barry Bodie and formerly employed by Flick Video.

Shannon is survived by her husband, David Wheatley of Zirconia, NC; children, Anthony Michael and Mackenzie Donaghue of the home, sister, Colleen Ballard and husband Danny of Pisgah Forest, NC; twin brother Sean Donaghue and wife Michelle of Canton, NC; nieces and nephews, Colton, Tanner, and Samantha Ballard, and Jasmine Donaghue; special family friends, Christina, Randall, and Debra Smith.

A visitation will be held at 3pm on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Moore Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wachovia Bank, Brevard, where a trust fund has been established for Shannon's children.
