Ruby "Sue" Bradshaw, 87, of Lake Toxaway went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2015 in Port St. Lucie, Fl. She was born in Oneonta, AL to Arthur and Mae Collett. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, Archie Bradshaw and her brothers-Roy and Jerry Collett.

She is survived by her son George Bradshaw (Carol) and daughter Carolyn Grady (Herb), grandchildren Susan Chesna and James Evans, great grandson, Ryan Chesna. She is also survived by brothers Curtis (Earline), Allen, Wayne (Barb) and Joe (Debbie) Collett and sisters Barbara Reynolds (Jay), Marie Pierce (Doyle) and Ethel Rollins (Tom).

Through the years she and Archie opened their home and hearts to 25 extended family members who came to live with them. Always with a smile on her face,
Sue retired from the Transylvania County School system after thirty of years service having cooked the best meals possible for many other workers and bus drivers. She was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of Faith Baptist Church where she served as the church secretary for 30 years. We who will miss her take comfort in knowing she is at peace and with her Lord. She remained active all her days enjoying visiting family and was known for her beautiful quilts which were truly stitched with love

Funeral Services for Ruby Sue Bradshaw will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church in Lake Toxaway. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Toxaway. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the church.
