Susan Felice

Susan Benson Felice, 66, of Penrose, passed away on January 11, 2020. A native of Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Benson.

A retired school teacher, she was an active volunteer with Friends of DuPont, Friends of the Brevard Library and also with the Brevard Music Center. Susan had served on the Board for Silvermont for the past two years as well as being a member of the Allocation Committee for United Way of Transylvania County. She attended services at Faith Chapel in Cedar Mountain.

She had enjoyed playing tennis most of her life and also played in the Women’s Golf League at Sherwood Forest. Her favorite pastime was playing Bridge and had recently enjoyed Mahjong, but her greatest love and enjoyment was her grandchildren and her family.

Susan’s loving survivors include her husband of 44 years, Thomas Felice; their children: Meggan Sigglar (Adam) of Atlanta, GA and Kipp Felice (Tiffany) of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Thomas, Matthew, Jeffrey, Grayson and Harper Blair; her sister Joan Krawceck of Birmingham, AL and her brother Michael Benson of New Hartford, NY.

Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
