Suzanne Victoria Moffat

Suzanne Victoria Bundy Moffat, age 83, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, 16 May, after a brave battle with cancer.  Suzy was born in Athens OH, raised in Alplaus NY, spent many years in Marion MA, and lived her final four years in Brevard NC.

She is survived by her partner Walter J. Striedieck, ex-husband George Moffat, and her three siblings, John F. Bundy, Freda Bundy Hofland, and David S. Bundy.

Suzy’s life, as a Force of Nature, brightened the life of innumerable people, as she made her way adventurously and lovingly from education at Rochester University and the Sorbonne, to teaching, sailing, and sailplaning around the world.  She leaves behind an uncountable number of people, whose lives were enriched by her presence, now left bereft by her absence.
