Thomas Frain

Thomas J. Frain Sr., 71, of Etowah, NC, passed away on January 3, 2013 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.



He was a son of the late Martin and Frances Duschinsky Frain. He was also preceded in death by three sisters; Catherine McDonough, Marian Vargas and Barbara O'Leary.



Mr. Frain was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #8886.  He was very active in many ministries through Sacred Heart Catholic Church.



He is also survived by his wife Della M. "Cookie" Frain of 21 years, three daughters; Kelli Morlock of Portage, IN, Kathryn Metcalf of San Diego, CA, and Heather Caropepe of St. Joe, MI, one step-daughter; Dawn Holub of Douglas, MI, two sons; Thomas J. Frain, Jr of Ogden Dunes, IN, and Nicholas Frain of Ind., IN., three brothers; Martin, James and Patrick Frain, one sister; Frances Aguire, 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.



A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 11am, Monday, January 7, 2013 with Father Patrick Toole officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.



In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Brian Berg Lane, Brevard, NC  28712
