Brevard - Tommy Everett Irby, 38, died Friday, December 25, 2009.
A native of Sapulpa, OK, he was a stone mason. He loved fishing, camping, cooking, racing, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby McCollaum, and paternal grandfather, Tom Irby.
Surviving are his father, Larry D. Irby, Sr. and wife Janet of Sapulpa, OK; mother, Etta Maxine Green of Brevard; daughters, Constance Orr of Brevard and Kerrigan Irby of Brevard; son, Carter Irby of Brevard; former wife, Cassie Carnley of Brevard; twin brother, Larry Irby, Jr. of Lake Toxaway, NC; brothers, Matt Irby and wife Isabel of Sapulpa, OK, Jamie Irby of Lafayette, LA, Stanley Green of Brevard and Steven Green of Fletcher; sister, Dayna Osteen of Lake Toxaway; paternal grandmother, June Irby; niece, Angie LaRowe and husband Eric of Brevard; a number of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
