Violet Sentelle

Violet Eugenia Sentelle, 91, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, went to her heavenly home on July 21, 2012.  She was born on March 15, 1921 o the late Will K. and Mary Vickers Sprouse. She was the wife of the late Kenneth John Sentelle for almost 60 years until his death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Lee Blanton.



She was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church where she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher and a GA leader. She was a loving mother who always had a hot meal and a clean, cheerful house waiting for her husband and children to come home to. She will be remembered for her pretty smile, coconut cake, sweet tea and for preparing huge, delicious meals for all her family get togethers. She will be deeply missed.



Surviving are her five children; Charlotte Galloway(Robert), Brenda Sentelle, John Sentelle (Sheila), Kerry Sentelle (Dawn) and Maria Sentelle all of Brevard; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Mildred Goodson of Brevard.



A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Willingham and Ron Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
