Wade Blythe

Wade Glenn Blythe, 74, died on January 27, 2013 at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.

He was born in Pisgah Forest, NC to the late Glenn and Nettie Jones Blythe. He was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Wilson and grandson Josh Blythe.

Mr. Blythe retired from Dupont after 15 years of service then he retired from Camp Pisgah Girl Scout Camp after 12 years of service. After retiring he enjoyed building houses in the area. He was an avid hunter and loved going to auctions and flea markets.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Edith, one daughter; Lavondia Owen and husband Jimmie of Rosman, NC, three sons; Randall Blythe and wife Debbie of Brevard, NC, Tom Blythe and wife Sheri of Brevard, NC, Joe Blythe of Spartanburg, SC, two brothers; Charles Blythe of Lakeland, FL, and David Blythe of AZ, one sister; Marion Chappell of Brevard, NC, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 6pm on Thursday prior to the service and immediately following the service.
