Wanda R. Ecrement

Etowah - Wanda R. Ecrement, 71, of Etowah, NC passed away on April 28, 2009. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Roach. Wanda worked as a medical office manager in Memphis, TN where she lived for 30 years. After retiring, she moved to Etowah where she enjoyed playing bridge and babysitting her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack and Eddie Roach, and her sister, Effie Houser, all of Knoxville, TN.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ohlsson and husband Jim of Pisgah Forest, NC; her son, Gregory Williams and wife Cindy of Seminole, AL; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Roach of Nashville, TN; brother-in-law, James Houser and sister-in-law, Sylvia Roach both of Knoxville, TN. She is further survived by six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd Alewine officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
