William Brittain

William Leo "Billy" Brittain passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a long-time resident of Transylvania County. He was the son of the late Wilburn and Margaret Ellen Holden Brittain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucinda Gail Brittain Mullinax, and his brothers, Tommy Wilburn Brittain and Randall Brittain.

A member of Carr's Hill Baptist Church, he loved his Lord and his church family. He loved his family, but especially his grand babies.

His loving survivors include his wife of 19 years, Lisa Breeden Brittain; his children Samantha Renee Buie (Chris) of Marion, NC, David Jeffrey Stamey of Brevard, and Jennifer Lashay Stamey of Brevard; grandchildren: Destiny, Kaitlin, Dallas, C.J., Abby and Hailee; his twin brother Robert Lee "Bobby" Brittain (Nancy) of Brevard, and sisters Susan Denise Brittain Byers (John) of Brevard and Linda kay Brittain Powell (Todd) of Brevard and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Billy Brittain will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Carr's Hill Baptist Church.
