William Millner

William Martin Miller, Jr., 77, of Matthews, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2021 at Novant Health in Matthews. A native of Brevard, he was the son of the late William and Lillian Harris Millner, Sr.

He had worked for a number of years at Ecusta in Brevard and had also worked as a Police officer in Charleston, SC as well as for the Metro Special Police in Charlotte, NC.

He is survived by his children, Reid Watson Millner of Atlanta, GA, William Martin Millner, III of Charlotte, NC and his daughter Beth M. Walker of Asheville, NC; grandchildren Anna Millner, Abby Millner, Nevia Walker and A.J. Walker; and his brother, George Millner.

The family held a private graveside service at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery in Brevard.
