William "Bill" Price

William “Bill” Price, 91, of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, passed away on November 27, 2024. A native of Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Edwin and Hazel Sares Price.

A United States Army Veteran where he served as a mechanic, he enjoyed hot rods and was a member of the Central Florida Timing Association Drag Racing Club before starting his family. A salesman by trade, he specialized in industrial supplies.

A member of Enon Baptist in Pisgah Forest, he sang tenor in choral groups when he was a young man and in church choirs for much of his life.

His loving survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jean K. Lindon Price; their children: Teri L. Teague (Michael) and Dale W. Price (Denise); 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Edwin E. Price.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Price will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Enon Baptist Church.
